Colin McAlpine

Scottish born Colin McAlpine graduated in 2018 with a BA Hons Degree in Photography from City of Glasgow College.

Colin primarily uses analogue techniques as a means of conveying his visual storytelling through his documentary and portraiture work. He is an avid supporter and practitioner within the recent analogue resurgence in the photography community. He demonstrates a passion for the printed image and is currently furthering his knowledge undertaking training in darkroom techniques.

In addition to developing long-form personal projects, Colin continues to undertake corporate work and editorial campaigns within the UK.

Recent clients include : Scottish Water, WGM Engineering, Police Scotland and Bell & Swift

Colin has also been lecturing in photography since late 2018 and offers one on one tuition as well as group workshops from his studio in Glasgow`s East End.

His work has been exhibited nationally & internationally.
